Not again, fever !

Her fever started on Saturday morning. Ash woke us up at 2.30am with a 39.5 degree fever. Decided to use the Voren supporsitory as 39.5 was too high to wait for Brufen to take effect. In the morning, brought her to see Dr. Zainal who then said it was likely to be a viral fever. All was well until around 4.30pm when Ash complained she was cold. Took her temperature to find it was already 38.8. It continued to rise despite Brufen until finally at 5.30pm, we decided to bring her to KKH as her fever had already hit 39.5. Because it was a Saturday evening, we knew the CTE would be jammed packed and there was no way I was going to be able to get thru quickly enough, so we called for an ambulance. When we got to KKH, Ash was sponged to keep her temperature in check and she did not enjoy it. We were sent home with fever meds once her temperature had come down.
