Naughty Deeds

No. 1

Ash wanted to cut paper with her sisscors, so I gave her the sisscors and paper. I went away to wash my hands and went I got back barely 30 seconds later, Ash proudly said to me " I cut the mattress".

She had cut the mattress cover that ma-ma had brought over.

Massage
Ash has been attending child massage sessions for her cough. Viv had found this place in one of the motherhood forums and it was highly rated in curing chronic coughs in children. The 2 lady sinsehs there see only children. We saw babies as young as 3 months, kids up to 12 years old there as well.

The initial visit, we were asked the usual questions, like how long has she been coughing, what treatment so far, checking of the pulse and listening to the lungs etc. So far Ash has gone thru 4 sessions and taking the herbs prescribed, I must say her cough has improved tremendously. It is no longer phlegmy, although she still occasionally coughs in her sleep, the difference is, she isn't woken up by it. The team of ladies doing the massage are also quite experienced in handling and reassuring the kids, or at least the other kids. Ash was fine duing the inital session, perhaps she was curious, but it got progrssively more difficult to get her to sit thru each subsequent session. Hopefully, we don't have to strap her down by the 7th session !!! Ha ha !
