1st & 2nd month -

You loved to be carried in Aunt Wendy's arms but you did not allow her to sit! It made Aunt Wendy so tired/exhausted and she actually lost weight at the end of the 2 weeks!

1st & 2nd month -

Grandpa took a flight to Singapore for a day, just to see you. He wanted very much to plant many kisses on your cheek but mummy had disallowed that, for fear that you might develop rashes on those precious rosy cheeks of yours!!

1st & 2nd month -

You wanted to be carried & rocked & walked around the house ALL the time, when you're awake. In this picture, grandma was in Singapore to help out.
1st month - You could focus at a young age!

You love human beings. At such a tender age, you could focus and looked at the person carrying you, in the most adorable & pretty face.

DISHARGE DAY
Paternal grandma was there to help carry you, as mummy's wound was still aching badly. We put on the Laura Ashley attire that we'd specially bought for you to be worn on the day of discharge from the hospital.

Sun, 17 Sept 05

You had mild jaundice. After the phototherapy, you looked quite tan.

1st month -
Sat, 17 Sept 05

Today, Daddy & Mummy had fun playing "eye-tracking" with you. Even though newborns are unable to track moving objects, you surprised us by tracking objects that we moved within your view. Mummy loved to see your eyes. You were observing and learning about your new environment in your own quiet way.

1st month -
Fri, 16 Sept 05

You opened your eyes for the first time, outside of the OT. Mummy & Daddy were trying to figure out who you resemble. You were very curious about your new environment.

1st month -
Thurs, 15 Sept 05

You did not like the cold temperature in the room & preferred the warm temperature of the nursery. Your cries were VERY loud and "angry" and made your face very RED.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Mummy & Daddy fell in love with you at first sight, our long awaited child. Daddy was in the Operating Theatre & witnessed the entire process. Mummy's view was blocked by a curtain. When you were first placed on mummy's chest, you did not cry. You opened your cute little eyes and looked at mummy for about 2 minutes and then, you decided to cry out loud. Your cries were so loud.
