Welcome Back to School

To welcome the children back to school, Pat's prepared a present for every child - a Firefighter Fred soft-toy.

He is now Ash's best friend, she'll put him on her pillow beside when she sleeps.

Daddy, Don't be Sad

Our car caught fire last night. We received a call from the Police at about 9pm last night asking me to come to the car-park as the car was fire. By the time I rushed down, the fire had been put out and all I saw was the SCDF, Police, onlookers and my bonnet on the floor with the engine compartment covered in foam. After answering questions by the SCDF and Police, I was allowed to recover the rest of the stuff from the cabin, which fortunately was still intact.

I guess Ash sensed my sadness today. She came up to me, gave me a hug and said " Daddy, don't be sad, tomorrow when I'm bigger, I will buy a big red car for you, ok ?"

Happy New Year !

After picking Ash up from Pat's on New Year's Eve, we went over to United Square to meet up with Mummy and for lunch. Fox was having a sale, 50% off. Mummy managed to get 2 pieces for Ash.

And then on New Year's Day, we decided to pop over to the Expo for the Metro Sale. The Crocs shoes there were going at 50% off and since we had wanted to get Ash a pair, we thought this was a good bargain...we got 3 pairs for her !

At Plaza Singapura

We were at Plaza Singapura for lunch after Church. As the Christmas decorations were still up, we decided to bring Ash down to take some photos. This year's theme depicted the birth of Jesus. Ash was pretty familiar with the story and was able to relate to some of the characters like the Three Wise Men, King Herod, whom she referred to as the King and of course, Baby Jesus.

New Class - N1

Today we received information about Ash's new class for next year. It was a relief to know that Ms Elaine would still be her teacher as Ash is very comfortable with Ms Elaine.
