5th month - Sun, 12 Mar 2006

You had more Nestle rice cereal this morning. You showed interest in the first few spoonfuls & were waving your hands after each feeds. Seated in your bumbo seat, you smiled widely at mummy after every feed. However, you stopped feeding after 5 minutes & mummy wondered why - the food was cold! Mummy reheated the cereal but you only took 1 mouthful.

We brought you to the Mother & Baby Fair at Singapore Expo in the afternoon. You were blowing saliva throughout the entire lunch session at Lerk Thai. Thereafter, you slept all the way through for 3 hours! Daddy & Mummy had to patronise Watson's & Popular fair, just to wait for you to wake up. We'd wanted you to have a studio photoshoot at the BB fair. In the end, we had to wake you up for the shoot. You were a good girl, seated at the studio but you refused to look at the camera. Instead, you kept looking behind at daddy/mummy. Well, the photographer managed to capture a smiling picture of you despite all the struggle.

5th month - Fri, 10 Mar 2006

Today, you went for your 5th month jab. You now weigh 7.1 kg with a height of 67cm. Mummy is proud that you've passed your 7kg mark, finally. You didn't even cry when the needle went into your thigh. You took the rotavirus vaccinatio very well (You must have thought that it tasted delicious!). PD said that you were the perfect baby.
